Let us hope there are many more Trumpsters like him.

Trumpsters got Mike Pompeo and Nikki Haley booted in only 5 hours.

There are. There's no doubt about it. I've met some of them. There are more of them reading this right now. There's tens of millions of these people, and we already have a sales pitch.

America First! Lol, it's a two-edged sword. Plus the genocide just disgusts decent people. Get them thinking "With allies like Israel, no wonder we have enemies." They'll think that a lot quicker if they just meet some Arab-Americans.

There are quite a few of them in the Cleveland area. There are quite a few Trump voters who either personally know a few or have done business with them. The very best advertising is still word-of-mouth, and it's already having an effect.

The Cuyahoga County Council is divided over the issue of investment in Israel bonds because people showed up. Just a year ago, nobody even thought about it.

As for Trump, there's the point you made about reciprocity in your link. The Trump voters aren't just going to stop paying attention because their guy won like the Democrats do.

These ad agencies have put campaigns together opposing things like public education and healthcare.

The corruption of this government is just beyond imagination...

I think they intentionally floated Pompeo and Hailey, knowing that people would freak out, and then when they announced the new names everyone would be like "phew! thank god it's not Pompeo, see? WE rule, WE influenced this decision, Trump listened to his base",...and swallowed the new neocons without protest.

Won't be easy, but probably one of the less un-viable steps from here to there. America-First does not often involve too much compassion for people elsewhere except on practical grounds. As far as I can tell, roughly speaking, it's a nationalist populism. That is thanks to long standing divide and conquer arrangements, pitting labor from one part of the world against another. So one would really need to be talking about a revival of internationalist sentiment. However at the moment old-school leftist movements are so thoroughly dead in the US, that this is all there is. Does not bode particularly well IMHO. I'd expect Palestinians, and the Arab world more broadly, to see improvement the same way Yemen did - by fighting for it.

I’m afraid you’re exactly right , Trump clearly displays friendly agreement with Netanhanu , and cooperates with Zionism, it appears . Pray that Trump has an epiphany over this and change of heart toward this genocide..

I don't know how, but the Trumpsters underwent a massive change while Trump wasn't looking. If my Aussie family in law is anything to go by, they went from "Israel is the only democracy in the M.E. and Palestinians are stupid, that's why the never progressed" to hanging Palestinian flags in their fb profiles. It took some time, but people have seen it for what it is. War is death, colonialism is predation, capitalism has failed, corruption is rampant, and a genocide is a genocide no matter how they spin it.

You can turn a blind eye maybe while your own life is swell, and accept the fruits of the exploitation of others, but degradation forces you to connect the dots sooner or later. Empty bellies don't make for a relaxed and obedient population.

We need a global antiestablishment movement irrespective of 18th century political definitions, ASAP. The time is ripe

I fully agree with you on this point. This fraudulent behaviour by professional zio-business operatives should be exposed and the effort in doing that may pay off. But even if it won't, I see no reason why not to talk to the "other side", especially in case there are signs of decency. This is an obligation to fellow man regardless of outcomes. A decent person is never the "other side" simply because they are decent and that is good enough to me to have an honest talk.

Having said that I am not sure the "America First" mentality is currently the optimal to the American interest, as this MAGA guy would have been even smarter had he called him a fraudster(!) rather than suggesting he's got allegiance to another country... (which Shmuley may have).

It’s a very strange way of looking at this for an American to suggest that 911 was FOR Israel rather than to say the 911 was AGAINST America (or Americans) ...

So rather than sending him "back" to Israel he should have demanded that he be investigated IN America for activities that possibly broke the law....

At this point in time and regardless of MAGA the fact of the matter is (the way I see it) that US + Israel is ONE single mechanism, think about it.

MAGA should have been MACA: Make America Clean (i.e. not corrupt) Again.

Good video OB!

Well said - except you had better replace 'support for Israel' with 'using Israel - as our war proxy'. Fighting 'our' wars to grab, exploit and get rich on controlling oil rich countries. As in Africa. Not development, but exploitation. The USA is the worst country in the world, having killed hundreds of millions of people all over the world. Next comes Israel, now killing tens of thousands, but which would have been impossible without the USA - and the UK - same shite.

Weiss and Dobular are right on that the Shmuler Schmucks are lighting the fuse on anti-Jewish prejudice. Now that people have seen the pziochotics in action for 13 months, there are a lot of very ordinary people rethinking their opinion of the crazy Jew hater people, like "Maybe they're onto something after all." Not where we want to go at all. Jewish people have brought so much to America; so much of America is the work of our Jewish neighbors. Wonderful, smart, kind, generous--uh, okay, maybe not so generous. Lovely folks, though.

I think that old-time nasty anti-Semitism would be a lot worse in this country were it not for Jewish Voice for Peace and Jews like Weiss, Dobular, and quite a few rabbis, speaking out forcefully against Israel.

The rest of us see this, and we have their backs. Nazis are good only for killing; whether they wrap themselves in swastikas or stars of David makes no difference.

Like I said, in response to your last post, If DOGE goes to work on shrinking the MIC that will be a good indication that the republicans are headed in the right direction. It does bother me that Indian foreign policy seems to favour Israel and I'm hoping that, eventually, the ancient vedic principles of AHIMSA will eventually work against that. Similarly, the more we see signs that the US government is heeding the will of the people, the more we will see common sense prevail in the wider world. I look forward to Trump ending the war in Ukraine AS WELL AS ceasing support for Israel.

Next on my wishlist is for the UN to remove Israel from UN membership and for a reiteration of International Law in the world.

I also hold out hope that the Epstein list will be made public.

I'll believe DOGE will touch the MIC grift AT ALL only when I see it. Color me extremely skeptical there.

India's run by a pack of Hindu nationalists who hate Muslims, but they have their own problems. Just look at their air quality index. India won't help Palestine, but it won't prevent an end to the genocide, either.

I can't say I'm a fan of Hinduism. It seems designed to maintain a caste system. I hate caste systems. So did the Buddha, which is why he started his revolt against the tyranny of Hinduism 2500 years ago.

You will probably get your wish about Israel and the UN before too long. As for the Epstein list, I'd love to see it, too, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Somewhere I read that Trump is mercurial. Th it s is an apt description of his behavior. He seems to only act on meaningful change if it suits his interests and/or benefits his portfolio. He supports terrorist Israel now because he can buy into preserving it as a foil against hostile Arab states surrounding it, to protect US interests in the vast oil reserves in the ME. Hard to predict if he may be convinced to alter his current perception formed by his capitalist mindset . Just hope something impactful comes up. He’s surprised his peers before.

That’s a great point. Trump has one Prime Directive—to promote Trump. Right now he’s saying all of this insanely extremist Zionist shit because the Adelsons are paying him to say it.

If anybody think Trump truly gives a shit about Israel, I’ve got a bankrupt casino in New Jersey to sell them.

I think you’re right. If Trump sees that supporting Israel is unpopular with a big chunk of his own base, he could turn on a dime. He loves to be loved.

He also loves to show who’s boss. It’s not like he didn’t fire a lot of people from high level positions his first time around, and it’s been obvious he loves the power trip of hiring and firing people since The Apprentice.

while the ruling party in India is a nationalist one, the alternative is not appealing. I'm disappointed in their position on Israel but agree with nearly everything they have done otherwise. I look with pride on the way the country has improved since I left in 1967. The caste system only came to prominence during the days of the British raj and is generally being ignored nowadays. I grew up in the Northeast of India (Kalimpong) and am generally familiar with the tenets of Christianity, Buddhism and Hinduism and can assure you that Buddhism did not start as a revolt against Hinduism.

As to their air quality index; this too will improve, there are many moves afoot to address things like this as well as water quality and availability.

The British did a lot to suppress the education system in India and one of the consequences of this was (and is) the west's lack of understanding of Indian social systems and their literature. Even a superficial understanding of works like the Ramayana, the Mahabharat, the Vedas, the Upanishads etc. would improve anyone's philosophies and understandings of the world. An example of this would be Emerson's poem "Brahma" which he could not have written unless he had read the Upanishads.

Yah, it's amazing to me how many neonazi trolls are out there, even here on Substack. I wonder how many are actually Zionists, sometimes. No matter, their bleats of "The Jews! The Jews!" sound just like the "n-word, n-word, n-word lover" of the bigots of my youth.

It's better now, though. Then, the bigots said it in superior numbers and to my face. Now, they are an easily blockable minority on the internet.
