You are in danger of straying into “statement of the painfully obvious” territory, OH. 😁

It makes me happy to see MAGA supporters angry about Trump's abandonment of their principles. Most Democrats were unable to find any fault with Biden or Harris over their 4 years allegedly in office. Both parties serve the oligarchy and neither of them will get us out of war, stop the Zionist genocide, or fix the real economy because their owners don't want that.

You know, I don't think most Trump supporters were really voting for Trump exactly... I think they were mostly voting against the lying duplicitous hypocritical Democrats.

At least Trump is upfront about being a lying, hypocritical asshole.

Good point. I have to assume most Democrats voted for Harris because they believed Trump was a duplicitous liar. Why are we never given candidates we feel good about voting FOR?

I can only assume that it’s because they all ultimately work for the same people. And it’s not us.

Dr. Jill Stein ran in 2024 and was on most state's ballots. You can refuse to reward the parties of Wall Street and War and support alternative candidates.

I voted for Dr. Stein but there are never going to be enough people willing to do this to elect a Green candidate.

Just so long as you know I was never a MAGA supporter. I just know some MAGA supporters, and most of them are good people once you get to know them.

Just a funny side-note on this: "Elon Musk and Donald Trump are having a shit-throwing contest, and some of the shit is that Trump is in the Epstein Files and is therefore being blackmailed by a pissant foreign country run by genocidal Jews, and you know it. Maybe you don’t want to admit it, but you know it."

Both the Times and the Post, who have spend the last decade making up the most egregious bullshit about Trump, poo-poo'd this entire story, calling the Epstein client lists 'a conspiracy theory' - and implying that Jeff was trafficking those children for his own solo enjoyment, and wasn't sharing any of them with his friends.

Nothing to see here... move along...

That's because Democrats are in the Epstein Files, too.

The more they deny there's anything, the more I think there is something to Epstein's list.

The BOR restricts the Feds, not the States. The original 13 regulated all they wanted.

Ohio Barbarian's avatar

True. That's why the 14th Amendment was necessary to require the States to abide by the Bill of Rights as well as the Feds.

The country thinking itself exceptional voted for a president who thinks he and not they are exceptional. It's painfully hilarious they thought that any American president could be elected or that he or she would be a leader i.e., neoliberalism and self-service isn't democracy. With Westerners still generally thinking Western involvement in Ukraine and Palestine are different issues, on the opposite sides of good and evil, shows that Americans need bigger lessons in Wake The Fuck Up. But maybe they should start with getting rid of Facebook, X, Gmail and ChatGPT before criticising their tech overlords. Yeah, some self-honesty in moral outrage would be novel.

"Patriot Act" should be renamed to "Killer of the First Amendment--heck, the whole Bill of Rights" Act.

I submit that is exactly what Donald Trump and the authoritarians who surround him in Washington are doing right now. " Oh of course. (I have "solidarity" w/ you on this one). He wants big government. I done figured this out right around the time you did, apparently. He wants "small government" my ass. Elon is big and he brought Mr. bigman Elon Musk in, didn't he? Probably salivated over getting a Kennedy. New budget seems to be huge as well. Trump wants more and more power---am I right?

What do I think is happening in LA? I think a carefully choreographed astroturf protest was staged by DNC-funded NGOs, led by CHIRLA, whose budget tripled last year when the Dems upcoming electoral loss became apparent even to fossilized Democrat leaders. I think the staged violence provided the pretext for a leadership cosplay intended to salvage poor Gavin’s optics from his numerous recent unforced errors. Like they wouldn’t know how to yank Trump’s chain, after watching him writhe on the same damn hook throughout the summer of 2020.

So when do we form county/regional "paint ball" clubs, stop paying taxes and violently eject anyone they send to shut us down? Because I'm tired of reading and talking about this. We all know how this ends, what is required to set things right. Let's just get on with it.
