An anarchist AND a communist. I guess I really am, too. I'm definitely a Marxist in the original sense of the word, meaning I believe in doing away with the notion that only a few people get to tell everybody else how to live.,
That, at the core, is what it's all about anyway. The rest is mostly analysis of how the capitalist system works, and doesn't work.

"Rossa Palestine" (Red Palestine) is an Italian anti-Zionist and pro-Palestinian song written during the Years of Lead in Italy in 1973 by Umberto Fiori. Performed here by the Edizioni Movimento Studentesco.
Sorry you've changed the name but that's your right! I'm an old Marxist, non-orthodox "trot" member of the Socialist Wokers Party in Britain (not to be confused with the ex-Trotskyist organisation In America with the same name). Solidarity, Jim .
I know definitions are important, but I admit the propaganda wore me down. I got tired of explaining my terms with seemingly every third comment in Notes.
Yes, it such a shame how people conflate communism as Marx originally wrote it with Stalinism/China etc. I call myself a council communist to distinguish from the more state-control focused varieties. I like your newsletter’s new name!
Fellow Ohioan here. Hoping there are more like you here. I have found few. They seem to either be asleep or they have embraced their enslavement and subjugation. God speed, sir.
I'm a native Texan who lived in Colorado for 20 years, with a stint in the Navy. When I plopped my brash self into the land of Midwest Nice, I came across as something of a barbarian. That's really where the name comes from.
Ohio's not that bad. At least the public legalized abortion and marijuana when they were given the chance. The problem is that they are so seldom given that chance.
Anyone who looks for labels to distinguish what your the human spirit has to say.... I say this person isn't paying attention to the words. THEY define you. I am irritated by labels, but delighted by your words, OB...
To say how important it all is, I wish I had produced the following .... (sung by Peter Gabriel):

Most welcome! Glad you enjoyed it!
I am for the revolution against the corporate conglomerate fascist state that we in North America and the Anglosphere are suffering under.

From the dream come the vision...
From the vision come the people...
And from the people come the power...
From this power ... come the change
That's beautiful; thank you.
Good name! May it bring you many new readers.
