Hurts me watching people try to make more money while so many don't have any at all. You are already selling out strongly for money, is more really needed? You agree with me that government is a myth but you keep posting as if it isn't because money. If you're gonna sell out like that then when not go all in? Breadtube and Hasbara are right there. https://innomen.substack.com/p/we-dont-have-a-government <---<
Meanwhile I'm homeless. My account is what happens when you tell the truth. I hate seeing you go the Cait route, literally selling the illusion of being informed, the illusion of "doing" something. You want people to feel like paying you is the same as standing up for something when in fact the only reason they can AFFORD to pay you in the first place is because they are actually seated at work.
My impression is that you're already drawing retirement income anyway from some other source, am I wrong? Meanwhile they stole my mom's retirement. /sigh
It's theoretically financially stupid of me to say this. If I piss you off I lose a recommendation. But that's kind of the point isn't it. Truth hurts, not just the listener, but the speaker as well. Do you have the balls to tell your readers they are sucked into mythology? You got the spine to tell them that just showing up for wage makes them genocide complicit? :/ Here I go again I guess. Thanks for the kind past words, but I gotta go. https://innomen.substack.com/p/my-argument-with-caitlin-johnstone
I don't think paid subscription makes you more visible, Substack has the lamest algorithm around. I used to pay subscription to somebody, but it still wouldn't show me his posts, I had to go searching if there was anything new. I always see yours though, because I click like.
I enjoy reading your posts, but can't afford subscriptions anymore.
So these days, if someone's posts are behind paywalls I unsubscribe altogether.
Sorry I can't support you, I wish you all the luck 🤞✌️
Well, 90 days is kind of an archive, isn't it? Lots of publications charge for access to archives, and it does keep certain types of trolls away. We'll see how it goes. Thanks!
Thank you, but if it crimps your budget, don't. I'm really going for the people who have it; I've been flat broke myself too often to say otherwise.
Plus JD Vance and Sherrod Brown, and as much as I hate to admit it the cops, came through. My Social Security will not be offset by my public sector pension, so I'm in no immediate danger of destitution once I do retire in a few months.
Of course, I'm in even less danger of living in the lap of luxury anytime soon, either.
Hi Mr B. Though I do understand the paid sub thing, I find paywalls very disheartening. Especially when they're put up by writers seeking alternatives to what ails us.
I've lived as far outside of the system as it's been possible to get for a very, very long time now (over 12 years). And, though I live an incredibly blessed life in that I don't pay for rent, mortgage, electric, water, etc, I also don't own any property and don't have a bank account.
*For me the choice has been between faith in the Divine, or faith in the system. I've found that all of my needs, and more besides, are met in abundance as soon as I drop the stress and the fear-driven need to be in control outcomes.*
But not having any money (my hubby shares his meager pension with me, hence internet access) or bank account means that even if I wanted to buy subscriptions I couldn't.
Comping helps! One writer, Frank Wright, has given me a complimentary subscription, (I just had to drop him an email) which I really appreciate. And Ahnaf comped me in for a short time after I shared some of his work on telegram once which was nice. So comping is a good way to go for those of us outside of the matrix - or inside it but poor!
Anyway, that's my tuppence worth, for what it's worth. 😉
This is just an experiment. I may change things before too long because I don't like paywalls, either, but I'm going to have to do something about the inevitable trolls.
If it’s just paywalled comments, Mr B, my way around that, if I really have something to say about a particular article, is to restack with a note. It’s paywalled articles that really bother me. (Especially the ones written by millionaires!)
Anyway, whatever way you choose to go with it, I wish you all the very best. (And a happy retirement when the time comes. 🙏💚🪷

Looks like a good deal to me.
Folks have choice.

I'll try for a yearly subscription when my S.S. comes in at the end of the month. Chris, (aka "Chknltl") Chick
