delightfully entertaining and elucidating straight-talk ohio barbarian. tnx for the reality check: grift is the common denominator for every government agency, party, MSM cabal, and their dog's breakfast of a putative, patronizing, but entirely disingenuous 'platforms'.
yes the grift must flow. but it flows both ways. It's the big money that big donors give to get their man/gal in Congress or POTUS (which in turn gets us the SCOTUS) . But we the poeple also get grift from state and federal programs that keep all the gears in motion. Aslo lots and lots of government jobs. Roads, schools, health care, housing, and many other funded or partially funded programs that flow it us "the people". Coulld it be allocated better? YES. Could we direct the flow of the grift that goes into campaing finance better?YES. I good idea for your nextf report would be to follow this ebb and flow ; see who gets what; and where it ends up at the end. The fact it takes mutiple millions maybe into the billion of dollars to run for those top political jobs that wheld the most power and from their the griftit trickles down to us. Maybe take the big money out of running for office whould help. IF its the big guys pouring in the big money they want threir voices heard. If only small donations eith caps flow into the politics of campainging maybe us little guys voices all over the USA would be listened too. But you are right "the Grift must flow" . enjoyed the read. thanks
I remember reading about Koreagate (the big Democrat grift scandal that blew up in 1970s) and being surprised as to how little things had changed. They sliced a sliver off the aid to a poor (then) country on the other side of the globe and recycled it into bribes to keep the scheme going.
Nowadays, Koreagate is often dismissed as Republicans' revenge for Watergate but rather the connection was the other way around. Korean corruption was running long before Nixon was anywhere near the White House.
The piece I was reading, right now I can't find it anymore but going to try to dig it up.
Ohio's right that it is a con, but the real conflict if any, since Biden's not actually making policy decisions, is that basically he's an actor going off script while they need everyone to believe there isn't a script. It's a con and he's deviating from the role because for the first time ever in his life the role isn't flattering. He doesn't wanna play himself. He wants to keep playing the president. And since he's demented enough to forget the threats and bribes that have kept him in line all these decades, he's impossible to corral.
It's interesting to me what his gaffs aren't. He doesn't seem to have been briefed on anything real. All his slips are still just political pageantry. This role really is his entire life it would seem, or, he's not yet far gone enough to really start spilling the important magic beans.
But again I must say for anyone wanting to understand the truth of our society, no one in DC is making policy. The banks are making policy, Obama still being in this loop proves it. The banks have decided Joe must go. This is a very unusual situation. But it's clear the read red phone rang, and the same people that summoned Obama's entire cabinet with a single email have ordered Joe's retirement. How they will deal with a disobedient sitting president in the middle of an election remains to be fully seen.
So I say again, we don't have a government. And this is just more proof. They canceled the primary. That should have been their only legal chance to swap out a candidate. If elections were real the DNC would be required to run an emergency primary, or drop out entirely. But no, they will just appoint a replacement, and we will be told we're being given a real choice, but we aren't.
Biden's 100% clearly done. The flippin NYT and CNN - most obsequious of the regime shills - announced it. They're just waiting for two auxiliary details.
1. Republican RNC, which is scheduled for the coming week. So that Trump is locked in as the nominee, which in the mind of some Dems is an advantage to them. Actually there's no need to wait for that, since Trump is so popular with the R. base
2. Finding a replacement for the VP ... This is probably the bigger issue. I think given Dems are down in the polls anyway, they can't afford a non-trivial fraction of Duopoly stakeholders who might be more comfortable with a second Trump administration than a Kamala Harris administration, which could drop in at random any day.
Right on, OB... Only when a lot of what my generation has gone through (I was born in 53) will the big picture of who owns what truly be heard. Since days of Reagan when I first started realizing it was an act and the person you see is NOT in charge, I've hoped that I can live long enough to FULLY see evidence of the way this country has been captured. I'm waiting for the Trumpers to put it together after it looks like he'll "get in"... But, wait... he'll only stay if he plays along.
Yah, it was clear old Ronnie Boy was not in charge. From the very beginning, he deferred to his VP and his Cabinet on policy, and played the part of President. The real first West Wing, in fact, but it fooled most Americans at the time.
I've seen reports of Democratic insiders, especially some of Obama's cadre, admitting they're not worried about a Trump presidency at all.
Why should they be? Being the opposition is easier. All they have to do is to sit back and take potshots at Trump and the Republicans, who will provide plenty of opportunities to fleece the faithful Democrat cult of donations.
Oh the drama and intrigue of it all!! I just can’t look away from this most intense episode in our history. It’s soooo distracting from all our other concerns… I love it and I hate.
Yes I agree with everything you’ve written.
How do we ever address who’s behind the smoke and mirrors or the bread and circus?
To survive this next 12 months will taking going as local as possible in my opinion. I’m grateful I’m in Ohio.
bringing the whole racket to a halt just makes me hope they can't oust him cuz he's going to lose, and anyone they would try to impose after no real primary the first time around will as well
and only because they deserve the karma of the equal evil
The bean counters of all the networks delivering news heaved a sigh of relief that Trump survived. Over the last eight years, the public's fascinationwith him has enabled the high salaries of all the stars of those shows. A Trump victory in November will enable the continuance of those salaries.
should have read your comment before posting my own inferior one: well said!

I usually have an addition, but not today. You've covered it nicely, thank you!!

Good post, will be linking as usual @https://nothingnewunderthesun2016.com/

It's the party of satan.
But GOP watched and never Once said Nuremberg Code Violations.
They're all captured.

Remember when it was said that the Barack Obama Administration was the most scandal free administration in a long time?
Then later, remember when Barack Obama was rumored to say, "Don't miss underestimate Joe Biden's ability to fuck things up"?
In the 2020 Presidential Race it was said, running Biden was a case of elder abuse.
Now it is rumored Obama wants Biden out of the 2024 race. You cannot make these things up!!!
ABSOLUTE TRUTH
the audacity of the basket of these deplorables!
