The United States has a lot for which to account, starting with the cowards across its branches ov government. They turned their head when enabling the unitary executive creation of The Division of Homeland Security. They turned their head upon expansion of the war machine after this unitary decision to ignore State Departments who ignore National Security Memos. I wish I could get behind more paywalls, but I thank you for bringing it to yours, OB.
Yeah, I saw that story. It was weird. It's also the second Russia story Hersh has botched in just a few months. As you may recall, he recently claimed that Putin had called for negotiations, and that he would, for some inexplicable reason, now be willing to allow Ukraine to join NATO.
???
Apparently Hersh's Russian source has a pretty wicked sense of humor.
The single greatest threat we face is the bungling, ineptitude and corporate servitude of the CIA. The damage they have done this country and the world is incalcuable.
Thanks for this. Whatever the western propaganda mill says about Putin is pure bull shit as he is their scapegoat of longstanding. They will say or do anything they can to discredit him. These idiots can only cry wolf so many times, now it is LOL time .
It is well known the CIA have operatives in Ukraine, as does MI6, and their bloody hands were all over this .
The empire of lies has yet to realize its endless lies have a very short shelf life. They have over played their hand too many times.

I have a video from my stepson of smoke from the fire the next morning from his apartment.
Don't think of this as just a remote terrorist attack - I suspect that many of you have friends or friends of friends who were closely affected as well. We still have a closely connected world.
I suppose they just...forgot. What a pack of clowns. Yet the M$M has these people on all the time as "experts." Yeah, they're experts at imperial blundering, all right, but that's about it.
Yeah, I unsubscribed from his newsletter when I read that. I saw that TOTALLY EXPECTED bullshit debunked the other day. The West is just a disgrace. IMO.
What sort of brilliant minds, by the way, expected the rest of the world to believe a bullshit story about "Not Ukraine" minutes after the incident.
I paid for a year's subscription a few months ago, so I won't unsubscribe, though I may well not renew. We'll see.
Those brilliant minds you mention haven't thought up anything NEW for years, not even new propaganda. It's all recycled garbage. They're kind of like TV execs back in the day wondering why their ratings went down during summer reruns.
Interesting. I've thought the same about Hersh over his last few articles related to Russia. And after reading his latest I almost canceled my sub to his stack. Then I though, "Everyone has their biases, places their ego cannot go. Perhaps Russia is one of Hersh's. Perhaps in the game of lies played by our governments and media, I am going to hear stories my ego doesn't want to hear."
I don't think my ego has anything to do with this - I just am not going to waste my time. Too many other sources of information.
I think that the traditional pundits and the "celebrity" pundits, like, say, The View, believe that the also traditional walled garden for information still exists. I doubt that Maddow, for instance, thinks for a millisecond that her viewers look anything up on their own. I think that is also true of the traditional pundits. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I have not based my opinions on mainstream pundits' opinions for a very long time.
Thank you. Very good article. I just recently subscribed to Hersh’s Substack, but that last article was hogwash imo. If he keeps that up, I will be dropping it. 🥲
This is a great note. And timely. Glad to find someone else who keeps an eye on Hersh. Thanks.

I think the deep state's feeding Seymour some shit, and for the moment he seems to be going along with it.
Actually, that makes sense. Quite a disappointment, though.
Couldn't agree more!
I just added this to my post CARTOON: ISIS-K? Wake Up To The Many US Connections To Moscow Terror Attack!

I stopped listening to Hersh some time ago. I do not remember what it was exactly that turned me off besides the paywall.
He has done a lot of good, and did some not all that long ago. His last two stories have been disappointments.
I agree. I used to follow his writings and analyses but recently he has been way off.
Are we really that good? We can call aterrorist attack anywhere in the world but not here, at home. Amazing
I fail to see that anyone anywhere on this thread said we couldn't call a terrorist attack here.
My comment was based on an article concerning the US warning Russia about a terrorist attack. It was not about the thread
