There’s still no evidence that masks are effective during a pandemic.—Tom Jefferson, author of the Oxford study on the (in)efficacy of public mask wearing at preventing infection by Covid-19 and other respiratory viruses, Brownstone Institute interview, February 8, 2023.
Politicians, and the paid lackeys and media who serve them, - no, wait, the lackeys really only see politicians as profit centers, my bad - are loyal to nothing except money, power, and/or the possibility of money and power. Blinken, IMO, is using the State Department as nothing more than just another campaign headquarters, using lies and misdirection and forcible removal, if necessary, to advance his boss, his candidate. ALL Blinken has been doing is setting up for the 2024 elections, whilst letting the embedded neocons have their way. As long as those neocons do not endanger the 2024 election.
The White House and Congress are really only subsidiaries of the DNC and the RNC. And, unless something truly drastic and transformative happens, the Green Party, etc., are just tolerated because they allow people to vent, but truly endanger nothing. IMO, Jill Stein knows that very well. So do Bernie and AOC and other "progressives".
Anyone who believes anything a politician says, at this point, is a damn fool.
Want to know what NEVER will be fixed? Just look at campaign rhetoric. Student loans, Social Security, access to health care, etc. - all merely campaign items now.
I forgot to mention the pushback Oprah and the Rock are getting from their Maui relief grift. Comparing themselves to Dolly Parton...hell! She's been giving back to Appalachia out of her own pocket since at least the 70s? We KNOW Dolly, and we also know Oprah ain't her.
The condemnation of Cornel West for hiring Peter Daou by Black leftists seems to have taken the parlor progressive community by surprise.
I just hope these two recent developments are proof that more Americans are waking up and speaking out against the establishment as a whole.

Preach it, sister!

Bingo.
