It should be noted, however, that the Israeli population, in addition to its daily whining and vituperation against PM B. Netanyahu (who basically doesn’t give a damn about the fate of the hostages) and, according to the polls, The vast majority approves the ongoing genocide and the burning down of the Gaza ghetto. They also seem enticed by the offers of Israeli developers who offer beautiful properties on the coast of Gaza.... So? ... So? Schizophrenia? Cognitive dissonance? Or other form of collective sociopathy? It will be necessary to review our DSM-IV….

Glad I didn’t have a mouthful of coffee when I read the last sentence of your reply. I would be changing clothes right now.🤣🤣🤣

Sorry, I'm so used to thinking that goes without saying that I didn't think to mention it. I've known that since the late 1970s, you see.

Those people are understandably worried about their own relatives, but if it wasn't for that they probably wouldn't have been there. Long term, though, it could make a difference, but only after American support is cut off.

Coors....yuck

But lots of folks like em light. I like tasting a good malt blend with hoppy overtones. I prefer bitter over citricy hops but man it need to taste like beer.

I prefer hearty beers and ales myself. When it comes to beer I prefer the amber lagers, like the American Yuengling or Mexican Dos XX. I like a good lager, too, but those nearly all come from Europe, IMHO. And sometimes, darker is better. Mississippi Mud. Guinness.

IMO, President Putin has made "F**k Around and Find Out" an art form.

Just think - after years and years and years of setting groups of Americans against each other, based on political beliefs, gender, race, creed, "vax" status, ad infinitum, after years and years and years of treating American citizens with the same contempt that Israel treats Palestinians (side note - wonder which country full of Not Jews, in the middle east, is next) - I fully expect Biden to try and read his little notecards in order to tell us we are all Americans and need to pull together. Bwahahaha! Dude - our Congress does not even think we are actual human beings. Good luck with that.

Excellent stuff, as always, OB.

You got me,. I'm technologically challenged enough and you've got at least 15 years on me. I've had a debit card ever since restaurants stopped taking personal checks, and that's been awhile.

If I can give you a good laugh when you need one, that's enough.

As expected. Tiktok should win on First Amendment grounds alone. Maybe that's why the law doesn't take effect until next year, to give the courts time to nuke it because of course they will.

This way, the politicians can tell AIPAC they did everything they could and keep the grift flowing please and maybe Tiktok users will forget they tried to take away their platform come November.

I know--barf. But that's how our political class thinks.

Exactly how the political class thinks! Biden gave Bibi Rafah just to try and save Bibi's career and make Biden look good by having Burns mediate the ceasefire. Biden can claim it was not his idea to invade Rafah he is "stopping weapons" etc just in time for election. Nice games with children's lives. The good news is Al Quds brigade is bombing Biden's stupid pier.

That's the problem with piers, pipelines, and everything else connected to the extraction of oil and natural gas. If somebody who lives there and is armed and doesn't want you doing that, they can fuck up your entire grifting operation.

That is what the pier is for. The Israelis have already sold drilling rights for the natural gas deposits just offshore of Gaza to companies like BP.

As someone who has also lived in the Denver area, I'm surprised about that. The authorities are losing this battle on the moral level; the don't even know how to compete.

I'm surprised the ship coors to Cali, theirs so many better beers out west.

Lastly, how's the house coming?

Great to hear that the encampment at Case Western Reserve is still intact. Perhaps the students' resolve has put the cops in their place. For now.

OB or anyone, where do we see this going? Bibi is all-in but what happens when all Palestinians in Gaza are dead?

I believe the students are protesting more than just genocide. They recognize that their future has been stolen and more so with every 100 billion spent on war. They are being persecuted for being antisemitic, so maybe they should switch their signs to protesting all war funding.
