The protesters took over the library on an invitation from the PSU President, agreed to leave after the President agreed to all their demands, some left, some broke back in, lots of damage, the county DA won't prosecute, 15 police cars burned in a storage yard - all the usual for Portland.
But then, I like the cat - reminds me of today's outside lunch of oysters and crab at the ocean with the politest beggar cat. First on a chair, then on the wooden table at a distance, then shyly accepting a little crab :-)
There has been no violence reported at Case. Not even counter-demonstrators. On the street, the prevailing attitude is that Israel has gone way too far. Maybe the cops would be embarrassed to do anything. Maybe they sympathize with the students, I don't know.
