Generally, I like the concepts, and I agree - MAGA is confusing here as it's not just a concept - it's been usurped as a political ideology.

But for me, I would put "End Foreign Intervention" on the top of the list, given today's escalation in Ukraine. I can't call it a WTF moment - I think it's actually an expected escalation as Mr. "diplomacy is back" continues to fund and provide more and more advanced weapons to Ukraine. As the President of the Russian Federation said this morning, they are fighting "the entire military machine of the collective West."

There is more that concerns me:

"I would like to remind those who make such statements regarding Russia that our country has different types of weapons as well, and some of them are more modern than the weapons NATO countries have. In the event of a threat to the territorial integrity of our country and to defend Russia and our people, we will certainly make use of all weapon systems available to us. This is not a bluff.

The citizens of Russia can rest assured that the territorial integrity of our Motherland, our independence and freedom will be defended – I repeat – by all the systems available to us. Those who are using nuclear blackmail against us should know that the wind rose can turn around."

This is probably news after this WTF moment, but, well, I hope the world survives Joey and Liz Truss.

And personally, I hope that the infrastructure on what was Ukraine isn't destroyed, including the family block of flats, but I'm less optimistic this morning. The current leadership of the West no longer cares about peace, diplomacy or its citizens.

I'm not sure if there's a step beyond worst President EVER, but maybe it's time to add one. Worst Western leader in post-war history?

I have no problems with Hinkle's foreign policy positions, except maybe the call to exile America's worst war criminals instead of doing something a little more permanent seems a little---soft---to me.

I remember when Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul would work together on antiwar positions. Now, the only elected national politicians even questioning Forever War are, in fact, self-described MAGA Republicans, plus Rand Paul.

It is natural that antiwar leftists would support those people on this specific issue. There can certainly be an antiwar coalition that crosses ideological lines, but that does not mean that the two groups can, or should, cooperate on everything else.

Simply put, most MAGA people let alone most Amerikkkans don't understand what Communism is to begin with. Does Hinkle?

Heck, most of them think Russia is still Communist.

It seems that fighting against Communism disappeared as a concept after China became a trading partner. Now, astoundingly hypocritically, the fight is against Russia's "imperialism". And those who label Republicans as Nazis - cheer on Nazis in Ukraine. It is quite worrisome to think of what a desperate EU will do in order to get its hands on Russian gas and oil, now that the EU sees what US sanctions have done to it. And NO mainstream media news about anything at all is to be trusted one iota.

I always keep in mind that Hinkle is 22, is worth between $1 and $2 million, and is quite the metrosexual. And may not have actually experienced a lot of adversity in life. He seems to have bounced between a lot of groups protesting or advocating things, and the only job he has had, it looks like, is working at marketing Clif Bars. I have about six or so YouTube channels I watch for Russian news, and he is one of them, but I take some of his stuff with a grain of salt. I do not mean to denigrate his life experience, I just think he may have a different viewpoint than I do for some things.

I knew he was rich when he talked about what his USC buddies were saying. No, he's never actually been working class. Or middle class, for that matter. I do think he needs to read up on his Lenin if he's going to call himself a Marxist-Leninist, though.

I'm still not sure what a metrosexual is, even after I looked it up. From the pictures Hinkle has posted, he seems like a straight guy with lots of money using it to attract a lot of young women. I'm not judging. I would have done the same thing at that age, I'm sure.

Metrosexual - basically a straight guy who who is basically into all the self-care that used to be sort of associated with homosexuals - fashion, gyms, beauty treatments, whatever. The opposite of a "roughing it" kind of guy. Not a bad thing, just costs a lot of money, especially in LA.

I just watched a video of some guys in Russia grocery shopping at a big supermarket, made Sep. 4 - they start out with a sweeping view of the meat and fish departments - totally empty. Then they laugh and say hey it is late at night, 24 hour store, they clean out everything and restock at night. Very big selection of food, very well priced. Cheaper than here, for sure. Eggs, milk, bread, cheese, all kinds of fruit. Chickens, meat, etc. I think any reports of Russia and demonstrating because of food shortages are, well, completely made up. But hey, I watched an old clip of John Bolton telling a group that the US completely humiliated Russia by forcing Russia to withdraw nukes from Cuba - and did not mention that the US had put nukes in Turkey and secretly withdrew them. So now I question everything I was taught in school, to be honest.

Now I basically cannot use the word "basically" for a year.

DOH! Well, if I'm going to have a Homer Simpson moment, it may as well be over something as silly as metrosexuality. Yeah, Jackson always looks buffed and his hair is usually perfect. When I was that age, I had hair like the guys on Battlestar Galactica, complete with blow dryer and hair spray.

These young people just sound like they pay more for monthly memberships in clubs and such. My generation was mostly too broke for that. We'd hang out in pool halls and bowling alleys. Exercise? That's what dancing with the opposite sex was for.

Partially, anyway. :)

I haven't believed much of what the government had to say since Nixon.

We looked for some of your smaller cousins in the Alleghenies a couple of weeks ago. Probably fortunately for us, we didn't see any.

We may see the re-industrialization of the US - I saw a mention that some corporations may leave the EU and relocate in the US - because we have the energy resources they need. Which actually sounds kinda nefariously planned.

Sacrificing some of the provinces of the Empire to prop up the center? Or to enrich the center at their expense? The Romans did that to themselves, once upon a time. They abandoned the western provinces to save Italy and the Eastern Empire, and eventually gave up on trying to hold Italy itself.

England, thou art Italy in this analogy. The people of the UK really need to wake up.
